HBSC data used in: Is there a syndrome of bullying?

Researchers used American HBSC data from the 1996 survey to investigate psychosomatic disorders associated with bullying, and defining the demographic characteristics of the USA affected adolescents. Twenty-three percent of students who participated in bullying, as bullies and/or victims in the previous 12 months, experienced psychological or psychosomatic complaint; 35% abused alcohol or over the counter medicine.
