HBSC recently partnered with Wikigender, the UN Foundation, the EU-LAC Foundation, European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), ECLAC and PARIS21 for an online discussion on data gaps on gender equality.

The discussion ran for 3 weeks and included a new theme each week. Including: women’s socio-economic empowerment, violence against women, and women’s civic and political participation. For a full run down of the discussion and to view all comments you can visit the discussion page: http://bit.ly/1dnPEkI

The summary report will be presented at a side event organised by the OECD Development Centre, Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) in March 2014, during the 58th session on UN the Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
