HBSC International Coordinating Centre is recruiting!

St Andrews School of Medicine - home to HBSC's International Coordinating Centre - is currently recruiting a full-time Survey Methodologist.

The successful candidate will improve the scientific quality and societal relevance of the data generated by the HBSC survey through the development of methodological sophistication and by building the capacity of HBSC teams and network members.

Cross-national surveys are conducted on a four-year cycle.  Every survey involves decisions about its design and implementation, and each decision has the potential to affect the quality and validity of the data.  The challenge is to determine the optimal methods to produce the highest quality data.  We’re looking for a researcher to support the HBSC study with this challenge.  Applicants should be educated to post graduate level and have demonstrable quantitative skills; have the ability/desire to support the HBSC international research network; and have up-to-date knowledge and specialist understanding of survey methodology.
