HBSC Portugal: 2013/14 national report

The HBSC research team in Portugal have published their 2013/14 national report featuring data from a nationally representative sample of over 6000 young people.

The report provides data on demographics (age, gender and socioeconomic status), eating habits, sleep, body image, physical activity, use of free time, substance abuse, family and home environment, friendships and peer groups, school environment, health and wellness,  and adolescent sexual behaviours.

Additionally the Portuguese HBSC questionnaire included questions about relationships with pets, the impact of the economic downturn, alientation or social participation, self-injury, new technology use and the experience of chronic disease or disability.
